Description:
The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort, is known as the First Lady Of Waikiki.  This legendary landmark was the first resort hotel built on Waikiki Beach, and originally opened its magnificent doors in 1901.  The main building, now known as the Banyan Wing is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the hotel celebrates this with its own History Room containing photographs and other memorabilia from the early 1900s.  The famous Moana Banyan Tree, planted in 1904, protected by state law and when last measured was 150-feet across and 75-feet high.
