The U.S. authorities have now introduced a mandatory requirement for all airlines to ensure that SFPD is contained within the airline booking record a minimum of 4 days before travel, for all passengers arriving on or after 01 November 2010.
SFPD is in addition to the information already being collected via API and ESTA.
In preparation for this, a number of airlines have introduced earlier deadlines to ensure that bookings comply and some intend to prevent any tickets being issued or even to cancel bookings where the booking record does not contain the SFPD.
It may become possible for passengers to enter their own SFPD through their own airlines’ website but as this information does not always appear in our reservation system, we will not know the information has been provided and so will still not be able to issue tickets.
Consequently USAirtours has will collect this data via the link below - this facility will require either the passenger or their agent to enter their SFPD. This information will automatically be entered in to the booking record in order for the airline to pass it on to the U.S. authorities.
